Pepi was my first Greyhound.  I purchased him when he was six months old and he finished his championship at a young age.  Since he was my only Greyhound we decided to continue showing him as a Special.  During his show career, Pepi was always ranked in the top 5 in the country.  He was BOB at Westminster Kennel Club in 1992, BIS at the GCA Eastern Specialty in 1994, and BIS at Fort Steuben KC in 1995. Pepi was the Number One Greyhound, All-Breed, in 1995. He was a multi-Group winner, a Junior Courser, and had two legs on his SC prior to his untimely death in August of 1995.  He sired three litters and produced 15 Champions, 3 Senior Coursers, and a GCA Sweepstakes winner.  Pepi's show career took him to every coast.  He swam in the Pacific, the Atlantic, and the Gulf of Mexico.  He went to Drive In movies, had his picture taken by Lassie's Star in Los Angeles, and had his fortune told on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.  He was a wonderful companion and friend.
